Machining
Bemco's state of the art facility enables us to provide general machining services for any small to medium size job. In addition to machining rolls, we specialize in machining hard metal up to 70 Rc. Our facility includes:
- Two horizontal machining centers with a pallet changer
- Two vertical machining centers
- Seven CNC lathes
- 2 manual lathes to finish machine 70 Rc steel rolls
- Functionality for keyway cutting

Heat Treating
In 2000, Bemco acquired a computer controlled horizontal vacuum furnace. This enables us to:
- Harden and temper various steel types
- Bright anneal copper, 302, 304 and 326 stainless steel
- Solution anneal and precipitation harden
- Normalize and anneal various alloys

Electrical
For steel mill cooling bed drive motors, Bemco can:
- Replace shafts
- Refurbish motors (incl. removal of old roll, steam clean)
- Impregnate windings
- Replace bearings
- Test, paint and repair bearing housings
- Rewind motors
