Our most popular material used for over 35 years, mostly for cooling bed and line up rolls. The number one roll material in the industry for more than 35 years!

Hardness of 650 BHN (62 Rc)

SM - 1300

Same attributes as SM - 650, but used if there is impact or water

Hardness of 550 BHN (55 Rc)

SM - 70

Same attributes as SM -1300

Hardness of 750 BHN (70 Rc)

Superior wear properties, suitable for only certain applications

Replaceable & Reversible
Sleeve

Bemco engineers originated the idea of putting a sleeved roll into production. We can redesign your original drawing to accommodate a hub with either 1 or 2 sleeves depending on the wear pattern.

Imagine the following roll and its wear pattern:

We would redesign to a sleeved system which would allow you to reverse a single sleeve and to swap 2 sleeves, giving you 4 times the life of the original solid roll! This will reduce downtime and lower your maintenance costs.
